Hate to hijack the intent of this thread, but the search function is RIDICULOUSLY IMPLEMENTED !!!

I've been on this forum since January and just got my 6mt sedan. Even if I know EXACTLY the thread I'm looking for it can take hours to find it among all the gobbledygook. Having to get a list of posts and click on each one individually is a colossal time waster. Geez, give the guy a break. So what if it's a simple question, he ( or she ) still deserves the respect of a civil answer. Would you treat your child like that ?

When it takes you to the individual post, click on the "flat" button, and that will take you to the entire thread. I found that helps me when doing searches.

the search button really sucks though compared to other forums. once you do find what you are looking for, it doesn't even find threads, but rather posts and you have to click on each reply...
