19-20 inch chrome rims. New to the whole after market rim stuff. Not exactly for the G, but curious as to how much a good set would cost. Not too cheap, not too expensive.

You would start at about 2700 without tires for a good set of wheels. It also depends on what look you want/trying to achieve. With so many brands out there ( HRE, I-Forged, AutoContour, Lowenhart, Sevas, Volk, Work, MAYA etc to name a few) there is quite a bit to look at. There are single, two and three peice designs that can start climbing well over the 4000.00 mark.

Stupid question. Way too many factors/variables that you're leaving out.

A good set can range from a set of 17" Enkei RPF1 wheels @ around $1200 to a set of 20" HRE wheels that run $6000.

I think that you need to set a price range that you feel comfortable paying then look into the brands that fit that category

I'm happy with my 19" Nismo's for under $1400. I would stay away from chrome (or polished), too blingy for a G. Go with silver, gold, or black.

$4000 for just rims, then another 1200 for tires. .. oops thats me...

try out a used set of volks for 2500-3000 range with tires. then work your way up once you get comfortable with what sizes you like and offsets. dont go and spend money on a new set because you might not like it. I am on my 7th set of wheels and FINALLY i am happy. (4 years)
