Re: EBC Greenstuff brake pad availability
I think Ryoken has had some experience with these pads.
I just checked the tirerack.com website and they still only list the pads for the Sedan so far. Not the Coupe yet.

No, I don't have any personal experience with them yet. I'm just getting in plenty of research before it's time to replace the originals, which have just over 6,000 miles on them so far.
You know, after all this, I started noticing that my wife's Jeep would get dirtier on the front wheels quicker than the back, but it would take a couple of weeks to become noticeable, instead of a couple of days.
I don't really have a preference of EBC or Hawk or Axxis or whatever at this point. Probably whichever I can find front and rear pads for when the time comes -- so as not to upset the brake bias.

I juat apoke to a Nissan Rep, he told me that Greenstuff is primarily made for German cars and are not meant for ours, he recommended I contact him and get NISMO pads, he says they are specificaly made for our car.

Brake pads and rotors are pretty much the same technology from Geo Metros to Indy cars to Suburbans.
The only thing "made for German cars" is the physical shape of the pad. It's a low-dust high-performance pad material.
Note that your service tech can sell your Nismo pads at a markup, but probably doesn't carry EBC pads, and realizes that he probably won't get the labor portion of the job, either, if you go with EBC or Axxis or some other aftermarket pad.
And as for warranties.. of course an aftermarket pad won't be covered by the factory warranty. But it's a wear item -- the factory isn't going to replace your pads for free, anyway. Aftermarket companies have their own warranties for defective parts.

just replaced my stocks with axxiss metal matrix pads. I like em alot, as good or slightly better than stock but very little brake dust.

Re: EBC Greenstuff brake pad availability
Tfasano - EBC pads are made by a British company, who is "the" manufacturer of motorcycle brake pads. They started making pads for cars about 5 or 6 years ago. They do sell a lot of pads for German cars, because they all have the same problem as the G35, horrendous brake dust! Not only aren't the pads dusty (no graphite-they're made of Kevlar) they have a better coeffient of friction, both cold and hot then standard graphite pads.
Re: EBC Greenstuff brake pad availability
I ordered a set of Green Stuffs from BrakesRUS.com
According to the guy I ordered them from, the pads for the AT sedan are $30 cheaper than for the manual. ($49 instead of $79).
By the way, does anybody know the torque specs for the wheel lug nuts on the G-35 Sedan?
Thanks.
