Someone post a pic of their coupe on 17's? More ?'

Just wanted to see how it looks. I lov ethe bigger wheels but hate the fact I have to change the wheels in the winter all year round. Also some other questions. I'm getting diamond graphite/black. What do you guys think of the spoiler on that car? Get it or not get it? I think it looks better on bigger wheels but how about 17's?? Also are the splash guards necessary as well as the side moldings????

See pics of my DP coupe with 17's, oem spoiler and body side moldings. I did not get the splash guards.

Get the 17s...you will have NO regrets. If you feel you need bigger wheels, you can get some 19s with tires for a lil more than the price of the 18" package, AND you get to keep the 17s (just use them in the winter, then you can even mount true snow tires on them). ALSO, a HUGE BONUS with getting the 17" package (someone correct me if im wrong, but my car and the other 17" coupes have this) changes the interior a bit. Instead of that cheap silver plasticky looking shyt on the console. You get a nice brushed black finished material which IMHO looks 100000x better and gets rid of any sign of the "cheap" interior.

Hey man, thank you for the info. I DID know that it does change the interior. Funny thing too. I feel the same way as you and don't like that silver console finish. Also what do you guys think of the side molding and splash guards?? Also I know it is my decision after all with or without the spoiler. I'm leaning towards without but what are your guys recommendations?? Again the car is diamond graphite/graphite - I'm gonna be getting it tomorrow more than likely and they said they could put on a spoiler if I'd like. Any suggestions?? As well as more pictures please :-)

Pardon the ignorance but what is teins s tech?
I'm coming from a BMW to an Infiniti. I hope I don't regret my decision of letting go a German car

Re: Someone post a pic of their coupe on 17's? More ?'

I have a 5AT DP/G with no side moldings, no spoiler, and no splash guards. I had the 17s obviously but I was able to purchase a set of stock Infiniti 18s with slightly used Michelin Pilots on them and I could be happier!!! The car looks so much better with the 18s than the 17s.

I had people coming up to me in the office. The ones who knew about the change said it looked better and the ones who didn't asked me what I had done b/c the car was looking better. Sorry I don't have any pics handy at work to post.

for those of you that had BOTH the 17" tires and later 18" or 19" tires, what type of ride and\or noise difference did you notice (if any)?

Re: Someone post a pic of their coupe on 17's? Mor

No major ride difference to speak of. It felt the same except the tires are a little heavier. I guess that doesn't really help but it's late, I'm tired, and my head hurts.

S Tech is a sport suspension made by Tein. It is dropped 1.2 front and .9 rear. I can't put mud guards on mine cus it's lowered right now. Maybe when I get the 19's then I'll consider putting it on. As far as the side molding is concerned I think not having it makes the car looks cleaner. I have seen one that has it and let's just say it's not for me.
