Re: Another Tire Decision thread
i say go with goodyear even though i have toyos....because it think not all places carry toyos and if you ever get a flat tire (which happened to me) you have to order from a place that actually sells them.....btw are you getting performance tires or all season?

Re: Another Tire Decision thread
As for the Goodyears, I can't say how they are. But I had the Toyo T1-S 225/50R16s on my 97 Max, and they were great tires. Cornered on rails, no squeal, very controlled tire, wet and dry. Drove through an intense rainstorm on I-4 in Florida, when everyone started slamming on brakes and spinning into the median. My back end was breaking loose, but I was still able to steer through the vehicles that were losing control. My wife looked at me and said she'd never say anything about my driving again. I wouldn't hesitate to get them again. But they get a little noisy as they wear.

Re: Another Tire Decision thread
because like i mentioned before not all tire shops carry Toyos (i think), so if you get a flat tire like me, you'll have to look around for a shop that does carry them. Other than that I love my Toyos, they perform awesome and they look great too. The other day this guy looked at my car and told me I had some really mean tires, he didn't say anything about my AF wheels.

Renesis,
I think I was one of the first to get the GS-D3's on the sedan last year. I've had them since June of last year and can't say a bad thing about them. They're incredible in the rain and I even autocrossed on them for about 6 months before I went to the Azenis. I never had any sidewall flex issues and mine are 255/45/17 (on 17x8 wheels). Keep in mind that for autocross I pumped them up to 40 all around. Even though I was a rookie then, I was very competitive on these tires. I take every corner hard, even when not autocrossing, and these have held up really well. I use my Azenis for autocross only, so the F1's still get most of my wear. I've never had the others you mention, but I can tell you that these are as good as they're rating on tirerack.com.
Good luck!
