Question Why Does My (!) Light Continue Coming On?

When I first picked up my G35 coupe the (!) light was on so I went and filled up all of my tires to 33 PSI or whatever the recommended PSI is. And now about 2 weeks later the light came back on?

Do I have to have Infiniti reset this light? Or is it just because it dropped below freezing last night? Thanks!

It has a lot to do with the temperature.

as the temperature drops the air pressure in your tires drop. Try filling them in the morning to about 35 psi. Also, the light won't go off right away, it may take about 20 miles of driving or so.

I had a TPMS go on my '07 when the temp dropped below freezing. It wouldn't go off, and the dealer first had to re-register it. A few months later it happened again (without freezing temps), and they replaced it.

Have you checked the tires to make sure you don't have a nail or screw stuck in them causing a slow leak?

I'm swinging by my local Infiniti dealership today for the first time so hopefully they take care of it.

i jus did the whole refill wit nitrogen since the guy came and needed a car to demonstrate on they say it doesnt fluctuate wit temp as much as "regular air" does since theres less humidity. ALSO they say it leaks out slower vs reg air cause the molecules are bigger in nitrogen so they seep slower blah blah we'll see how it works out lol. + got cool N20 valve stem caps w00t

Took the car to Infiniti and wow it was the TPMS sensor that needed replacing. And they started looking at my spacers and they're going to replace my studs, and possibly my tires! They gave me an '08 G35S sedan to drive which is nice, and I really hope they replace my tires, lol.
