So what is everyone changing to after they wear the living "bleep" out of their stock tires? Sizes and specs?

I am going to go with BfGoodrigh KDW 2's soon. My tires are in very bad condition right now.

P.S. The KDW 2's dont come in 45 series only in 40 series.

First off, don't go with the stock sizes. Go with a 245/40/18 in front and the stock size 245/45/18 or a 255/45/18 in back. This will reduce your understter, and the car will handle better. Going with this setup will also maintain the stock stagger. As far as the brand is concerned, I think the Dunlop SP9000 has the best Cost/Performance ratio of anything else out there.

With all that being said, your signature lists 20" wheels????

This will be for the long roadtrips. $1400 dollar tires every 15k miles sucks the wallet dry very quickly! Trying to save a few thousand miles on them next road trip. So hence was curious what everyone was replacing the stock 18" rims with. Thanks for the tips Lou? Anyone else have any suggestions? Something comfortable yet aggresive? Not sure if that is possible? lol

would the changing of the tire sizes mess with the VDC?

The VDC is program for a 1 inch variation in diameter from front to rear. You want to keep that 1 inch or close to 1 inch difference for it to work its best. BTW, the rear tire has the wider diameter.
