Offset question for Work SC1 Schwert Rims
Offset question for Work SC1 Schwert Rims
I have a 2006 G35 Coupe with the OEM calipers and want to buy the Work SC1 Schwert rims for my car very soon. But I dont know exactly which offsets I should choose for them.
I will run 9,5x20" with 245/30 20 Yokohama Advan Sport tires (I already bought them)
and 10,5x20" with 275/30 20 Yokohama Advan Sport tires in the back.So guys please help me out with some infos about the best setup with these rims.I also want to know what means O disk for example. In germany this indication doesnt exist at wheel manufactureres.
I want an agressive look BUT I dont want any rubbing. The rolling of the fenders is already done so this would be no problem any more.
I also have to inspect the the new setup at the german car inspectors so I can drive with them legally in my country and if they will rub at any time I will get a big problem with these f...ing inspectors.

You don't have big brakes, so go with O disk front and rear for max lip size.
Your tire sizes are out of spec. You want 255/30/19 & 285/30/19.
Get your rear fenders rolled. For the tires you picked, and the sizes you chose, go with something like +10mm front and rear. Since you're going to custom order and are going to wait awhile, you want to get it aggressive and not have regrets or have to run spacers.

thanks for your responses
what do you mean with out of spec?there are a lot guys out there who drive these sizes or am I wrong??
So do you really think I will have no problems with the rubbing on an offset of +10 in the front and rear?!
My first thought was something like +20.

oh **** now I realize that I need 245/35 20 in the front.I just looked at some 350Z with 20" rims and they all got 245/30 20 in the front.so I thought this will also fit on my G35 without any problems. Can someone say if the difference between those two sizes is really big because I cannot change them any more.Is my speedometer displaying the wrong speeds or is it not that much?
I choosed now the Work SC1 Schwert rims with step lips and an offset of +15 in the front and back so I hope this will fit without rubbing when I rolled the fenders.

gots to keep the amount of people with them low. lol
ive been the only one with them until john just got his here at the end of october.
i got mine last year, i ordered them the week after they came out last september and they arrived in november.

who are you ordering them from? i would recommend talking to riley about them. he can get you pretty good prices. tell him dan with the sc1s sent you.
this is a very good tire size calculator and comparer: http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp
just put in your current/stock sizes on the left and then the new sizes on the right, and it will tell you everything you need to know.
since I live in Germany the US amount of people with them will stay at the same point
First I wanted to buy them direct from the german work distribution.but I will also pm riley to ask him for a good price maybe this one will still be better although I have to pay the higher shipping costs and the taxes at the german customs.
The tire calculator link you send me helped me out perfect.thanks for this one.
Btw. your is one of the sickest G35s I have ever seen.Take care of your lady.

Now I have 9,5x20" +15 A-Disk and 10,5x20" +15 O-Disk and mounted 245/30 20 and 275/30 20 Yokohama Advan Sport Tires. But I have to wait until April 1st with the mounting on my car because my lady sleeps in the garage over the winter
.Will give you an update when its finished.
