Infiniti Service Interpretation

Hi, I just got my an oil change at the dealership the other day and with about 14,000 miles on my G35c - I just wanted to know what the multi-point inspection meant.

FRT TIRES @ 6 32NDS. REAR @ 5 32NDS, FRT PADS ARE GREEN, REAR ARE 6.5MM

I was wondering does this mean I have to replace my brakes/tires soon? When will I have to replace them? I'm just not sure what the measurement of 32nds is? I tried googling it but I came up with nothing, I know this is kind of a newbie post but any help would be greatly appreciating.

Disc brake pads are considered worn when less than 2.0 mm. So at 6.5 mm you have enough brake pad life left.

Tires have tread life based defect warranties to 2/32" (i.e. the fraction of an inch with the inch divided into 32 segments). Most tires start with 11/32". 2/32" is at the tire tread wear bars. However traction and ride quality may be less than optimal in less than 5/32" tread depth. So you might want to start looking for new tires.

Front pads are fresh, rear pads are at about 1/2 life left.

Front tires are about 1/2 worn, rears are a bit over 1/2 wor.

New tires are 10 or 11 32nds. At 4/32", you have compromised wet weather handling

at 2/32", the tire is no longer safe to drive on at all.
