Another TPMS light thread..no more light yaaay!

About 7 months ago I put on my volk wheels and after about 5 minutes of driving the TPMS light comes on. I figured it would come on and just live with it. Last month I took off the volks and put the stock wheels on before shipping my car and the TPMS light turns off, of course. Finally remounted the volks back on and after 2 days of driving the city and freeway, the TPMS light hasn't come on yet. The only difference I can think of from the first time and this time is that I had the ignition turned on to the first click, so I could listen to the radio while I was doing this. Could it be that having the cars system on while switching out the wheels tricked the computer into thinking that the TPMS was still on the car? Just guessing here, but what might have caused it to come on the first time I mounted the wheels and this time?

Intresting, let us know how it works out. I read somewhere that a guy took apart his dash to cover up the TPMS light haha

Lol..I can't believe someone did that. Haha..When it first came on it was annoying but after about a week it didn't even bother me, I didn't even notice it. But so far, no TPMS light yet.

Sensors=very strange....?

That's all very strange, I've had my sensors removed/installed 4 different
times and haven't had any problems....which includes 2 sets of Volks.

Mine came on instantly, literally within 10 seconds. Never goes off... after 6 months still on without fail. I may worry if it ever goes off.
