There is no way to remove the light without having the monitors installed on most cars. Luckily, my light never went on.

What you can to is use tie-straps the mount the sensors onto the inside of your wheels so the light turns off.

I've got my wheels on order and I think that I'm going to install all 4 sensors in the spare tire. I'll double side tape them and band it to the inside.

put your TPS in there, Seal the ends, install air valve, pump it with air (35 psi) and put it in your trunk. .

That won't work because the TPS only gets it's power when the wheel is rotating. If the wheel is not rotating the charge will run down and TPMS will come on. It has some sort of connectic energy charging system in the TPS, Learned that with my Nissan Armada

BTW, I just got this from Wiki Answers:

The tire pressure sensor doesn't actually measure the tire pressure. It uses the wheel speed sensor (part of the ABS) to measure very minute differences in rotational speed between all four tires. When it senses a difference from what a nominally good tire is, it will turn on the tire pressure light. Note that you will need to check the tire pressure in all tires, as it doesn't indicate which tire is the problem. Once the tire pressure is adjusted, reset the light according to the owner's manual. You'll also need to do this after changing to a spare.

Gotta ask this question after everyone's opinions, why won't the sensors fit your wheels? I'm on my third set and they've always fit, never had issues and they do work! You're better off having them installed that way the PITA warning light isn't on! Find an
adapter that will work!
