Did anyone stay with 18" & go wider?
Re: Did anyone stay with 18" & go wider?
i did, but dont have my wheels on yet. They are at my house in South Florida and i am in Orlando at the moment. I went with 8.5 int he front and 10 in the back.
Re: Did anyone stay with 18" & go wider?
I did also. I went with the 18" Nismos, 8.5" wide in front and 9.5" wide in back. 245/40s and 275/40s. Went from Michelins to Dunlops. IMO, the ride did not get harder, but the handling improved greatly. the Nismos have been on for over 6K miles now, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I got a hellava deal on the Nismos, if interested PM me.

A frind of mine went with 18": SSR COMP-Hs, 9.5 fronts and
10.5 rear. These rims are about the widest+lightest out there that fit the G or Z in 18". You can put 255-45s on F and 275-45s on R.

Went w/ this same wheel / tire setup but I'm on BBS RGR's w/ Kumho Ecsta MX's & the ride is just as soft even w/ my Tein Htech's.
