Maximum acceptable rim/tire widths
Maximum acceptable rim/tire widths
If this is a stupid question I am sorry. How wide can you go with the front tires without causing the tires to rub when you turn? I want to get rid of the staggered stock rims and go with a setup I can rotate. Should I go skinnier in the rear or wider in the front? How much skinnier or how much wider? Any help is appreciated.
Go with a staggered setup....but if it's that important to get 4 of the same size wheels, i'd say get 9.5's...offsets will determine if you will have rubbing issues or not!
Get fenders rolled, just had mine done and worth every penny...
What does "9.5" mean (I amnot familiar with the term)? I have a set of aftermarket wheels and performance tires from a Benz I recently sold. The tires on it are 235/50 17' on all four. Can anyone tell me if the 235/50 would 'rub' on the front of a G coupe?
