General Exclaim UHP tire - can low profile overcome sidewall flex?
I've read tirerack review and G35driver.com reviews of this tire. Most ppl seem to think they are decent. The main concern is that a lot of ppl say the sidewall is soft; it flexes a lot and can feel as if you are "driving on rubberbands". I don't know what size tires these reviewers had, but my next set will be 245/35/20 and 285/30/20. My question is, with relatively low profile sizes, will the soft sidewall and rubberband feeling be minimized or a non-issue?
P.S. If I do not go with the Generals, I already know what my other choices are - i.e. tire recommendations not needed in this thread. Thanks!

i have them 245/35 275/30 19's...pretty decsent tire. i've never noticed any sidewall flex issue no more than any other low pro tire i've ridden on. the only thing with these is when they start to wear down (they wear down fast) they tend to get really loud.
Generals are garbage. I had a couple sets (not by choice) that I drove around on a bit. They're noisy and don't handle very well at all, when compared with many other high-performance tires. Pass on these.
Cheapest decent tire would the the Toyo T1R or Falken FK452.
