Need taller front tires.

Right now I am running Toyo T1S 245/35/19s on the front. Even when lowered, this tire has a really thin sidewall. Personal preference is that I don't like the look of it, i.e stretched. I would like a little more meaty look.

My options are 255/35/19 or 245/40/19. Both are within the 3% window for VDC but the prices for the 245/40 locally are about 50 bucks less per tire.

Would I have any issues running a 245/40/19 or should I stick with a 255/35/19. Its lowered an inch so rubbing will not be an issue.

Thanks.

T1Ss are a little "chunky" looking. They are also a horrible tire (in my experience with them compared to other tires). What size and offset are your front and rear wheels? What size are your rear tires? Also T1S?

Stick with 255/35/19. 245/40/19 is a horrible size in the front. Especially if you are running a 275/35/19 in the rear. The front tire would be taller than the rear tire

OK I'll stick with the 255/35.

What tires have that thicker look? My buddy has the exact same sizes 245/35 275/35 and we have the same wheels but his tires look substantially thicker than mine. He's running Nitto Neogens.

What other tires aren't so "cupped"?

Agreed (and edited). The RE050As run a bit large, too.
