Not sure if I can do this, I just bought my G35 about 2 weeks ago, havent really even got to drive it yet since its been getting small things fixed up at the shop, and in the meantime i'm already buying mods for the vehicl.e

My next buy for my G is tires/rims, the local guys on my local forum are doing a group buy for Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec, and I want to get 19 inch Tenzo R Type M's. I've personally never bought tires or rims for my vehicle, so I don't know what type of offset I want, or anything. What would be a good option to go with? I have done a lot of searching, and it seems a lot of guys have personal preference. For now I don't really know what I want so I'm looking for some opinions.

 

the Z1 star specs kick ***, but not available in a 19 Check out the new nitto NT-05 coming out this month for a comparable tire. Tire rack will also have some good reviews and you can search for staggered sized sets to see what they have available. They don;t have every brand though, so check discounttire, edge racing, onlinetires, and forum sponsors for other brands and stuff.

 

what do you want out of a tire? and what sizes are you planning on? Do you want a max performance summer? what is your budget for just tires?
