Whats so bad about wheel spacers?

I am about to buy a 20mm spacer for the front and 25mm for the rear spacers. I have the OEM 19. What so bad about using wheel spacers?

Do you realize how many threads come up when searching that?

If you had the answer, then you could've posted it in almost the same time it took to tell the op to search. I don't have the answer, or I would have.

Gary, what's up?

Yes, but its nothing that wont happen over night.Prob 50k-100k miles down the road you might start to hear a little noise. But keep in mind, my car is not my DD and only gets driven 1-2 times a month

if you actually searched you would know that people have different opinions on the subject. if i say oh there is no real big problem then i wouldnt be giving him the whole sides of the story or the whole arguments that he could see if he searched. therefore, he should search.

long story short: use quality components, make sure there is enough thread engaged on the lug, and torque to spec.

many places will not let you drag with them on either.

has anyone had premature tire wear and the wheel bearing going bad with the spacers? Or are all these speculations...there are lots of mix reviews...

ooh i see, yah im a daily driver on 25s all around

but i would have to agree with some of u guys.. if the spacers are QUALITy spacers then there should not be TOO big of a problem, however i wouldnt really suggest keeping them on for the duration of the cars life, im getting new wheels in about 2 years when i graduate college, and im searching around n making sure of the offsets n specs so NO spacers are needed

also a word, i do this as an extra precaution.. i dont really take corners too hard or go hard driving that involves really good cornerning..its a little something i do to ensure that nothing happens or no extra stress on the parts, basically no douchebaggery

nothing has been verified. everyone here is speaking out their asses. there has not been any proven facts by tests that conclude to all these theories.
