Have questions on the G35C tire sizes...
Hi all
Please bear with my questions.
I am looking to buy a 06GCoupe and am doing some forward planning regarding tires/wheels.
There are alot of potholes in the Boston area and I do not wish to spend money fixing things I do not have to.
1)
I dont intend to modify suspension or wheels. Refering to these wheels at this weblink.

These are the stock 19" wheels 10spoke from Infiniti right?
According to tirerack, the tire dimensions are 225/40/19 and 245/40/19.
I know that these the "aspect ratio" are not fix in stone and there are some wiggle room.
My question is, what is the largest height (aspect ratio) one can go on the stock infiniti 225/ ? / 19 rims without the tires rubbing the inside of the wheel well?
Can a larger height reduce the risk of damaging the rims when i do encounter potholes?
2)
Does anyone have a photo of what the stock 18" wheels look like on the G Coupe?
Many Thanks!

If you are concerned about potholes, go with the smallest rim and stock wheel size available. This should give you a softer ride and less of a chance of ruining your rims in potholes. Couopes are not the best riding cars in an urban environment.
