Just Where are Fenders Rolled???

Sorry for not getting it, but I have looked under both front and rear fenders and can not see just what gets rolled. I have a 2006 IP G with Sport Pac. I am looking at putting aggessive tires and wheels on and will do what it takes. Can someone enlighten me as to what Fender Rolling does and just what gets rolled. All I see is a 90 degree bend at end of fenders. Is this what gets rolled and how would the paint not get cracked? Looking at Linea Corse Dyna with Evos. 19- 8.5 +15 front with 245 35 19 and 19-10 +20 rear with 275 35 19

fronts are already factory rolled
the rears you just roll the inner fender metal..
they usually use a blow dryer then roll the fenders so
your paint wont crack
if you live in SOCAL PM shanesG he does fender rolling

Ok I thank you Cookie. I see from your pic that it is the 90 degree part of the fender that you roll. It scares me that the paint will crack!! What are the percentages of cracking?

It can still crack, after I've seen it warmed up with a heat gun, i guess gotta heat it up really good...

Sharky, there was a fs thread, someone was selling a fender rolling machine, had vid with an illustration of how it goes including before and after pics, cant find it right now

whats up Marcus!

Mutedshark, the chance that paint will crack when rolled is acutally very low.
ShanesG is the roller and he does an excellent job at preparing the fenders before he rolls, and he can roll it mildly or aggressively as you want. Of course the more aggressive the roll the more risk of cracking, but as mention earlier its really a random chance, even when ur car's paint is maintained and garaged.

dude even if it does crack, it will be ROLLED behind the fender so you won't see it, so there's no need to trip...however make sure whoever does it uses a heat gun

And +1 on hitting up Shane if you're in Socal, he'll hook you up

yah hit up shane for the fender roll.. if it does crack, and u went to someone who did it right its not their fault, possibly the previous owner of the car.. or some weird thing like that.. thats happened with mine.. on one of mine there wus another metal piece spot welded on top..
