Recommended tire pressure for new Pilot Sport A/S Plus

Just got these put on. Nice change from the mushy touring tires that I had, but the steering response is not a tight as I expected. I know it is an all season tire, but I'm thinking maybe I should be running a little higher pressure.

The tires were inflated to 32 psi. The max pressure for this tire is 51 psi.

What would be a good pressure to run if I prefer a firmer feel with tighter cornering?

Yeah, fiddle with it a pound or two at a time. You might find going to 35 will firm things up nicely.

i got the same tires and i had them at 32 and i think that was too low my car was eating more gas than usual, got them up to 40 now, i do like more comfort, car only feels a little stiffer but my wheel clunk has been reduced significally since the inflation

i don't know why people always inflate tires beyond the car's factory values.... i saw a video on men's health tv about inflating tires to the tire's maximum inflation pressure, which is totally wrong. go with the values on the label located on or by driver side door or center console. i try to keep mines with +/- 1 from factory recommendation.

32 is a little low, its good for comfort but bad for gas, look how squashed your front tires are on the bottom at 32psi when u have the wheels turned, you're practically damaging your tire everytime u turn

I run 35-38, even on my NT05's.

I have the PS A/S tires. They are 245/45 on 8.5" rims. I have been running them at 35 PSI for the last two years.

awesome. I'm gonna try it out I'm a little worried it might be too harsh on my roads, but I guess there's only one way to find out have you guys experienced a reduction in braking performance?
