20" Tires Rubbing, Dropped, Need Help!

Hey guys, just had a few questions for anyone with 20's on their car. I have a coupe with Tein H Techs and 20" MRR's, and the rear passenger side is rubbing BAD when I go over a bump, not regular bumps, but sort of like the big gradual curvy bumps that make the car rock.

I am running +25 offsets on the car, and 275 35 20 rear, 245 35 20 in front.

Any suggestions?? I need help!

You may have to roll your fenders to stop the rubbing. I have 20" wheels with a +20 offset in the rear but I run a 30 series profile and I have zero rubbing. I'm lowered on Tein S-Techs for the G35.

with those widths and offsets, it shouldnt be rubbing. Are you sure it is the fenders that are where it is rubbing? Can you see marks on the tires?

I had the fenders rolled, and still its rubbing. I was told by the guy who rolled them that he thinks that the tire is hitting the part where the quarter panel and the rear bumper meet, and that he could roll that. Would a camber kit help?

I also read that the tire size in the rear might be doing that. Maybe 275 30 20 would help?? Thing is, I did notice the same rubbing issue, just barely, same place, when I was running 19's.

a camber kit would make it worse. I was running wider tires with a higher profile and was slammed with no problems

swap to 275/30's in the back. 275/35's in the back with a drop=no way. the sidewall is too tall. I have 275/35's in the rears now and people ask me all the time if i'm dropped even though if i'm not. i'm putting 275/30 rears on this summer before i get a drop. i have 20's too by the way.

Like I said, I think its on the pass rear, where rear bumper line and the quarter meet. Cant roll that, but maybe i can cut.....or go with the 30's series profile, but I have to save some $ for some new ones...

You are running the wrong size tires. 275/30 should fix it.

I think you're right, but folks please chime in before I drop $$ on tires! Maybe someone interested in swapping out for my Falkens, over 75% tread left...

Looks like I'll have to wind up pulling the fender in the back where the rubbing issue is at....any other advice?

horrible tire sizes. Whoever recommended those to you should be shot. You should be running 245/30/20 and 275/30/20 or 255/30/20 and 285/30/20, or any combination of those. 35 profiles should not be used with 20" wheels on a coupe under any circumstances in widths less than 245

Well it looks like I'll be looking for 30" series tires then....
