Re: Going crazy waiting for my wheels!
Well, good news for me... I know have my Volks! Got the set sitting in the boxes downstairs in the garage. The bad news is that I had ordered tires, back on July 2, and they still have not come in.
I then talked to the sales guy today [been calling / bugging him for the past 3 days or so] and he finally claimed that they were on back order nationwide [Pirelli PZero Nero]. So not wanting to wait another 4-6 weeks [their quoted back order time] I changed my order to a set of Yokohama AVS db S2's. Here's hoping that they get the tires in tomorrow [what they say] so that I can get everything mounted up this weekend!

Re: Going crazy waiting for my wheels!
Perhaps my fortunes are changing for the better. The shop I was dealing with did get the tires in yesterday, so I was able to get my new Volks mounted up and installed on my G! I didn't get this completed until late in the day, so I did not get a chance to really drive it around yet. But in my opinion, the rims / tire / car combo looks great - I'm definately very pleased!
Now I just need to get my center caps and finish figuring out my lowering possibilities. I held off on the center caps initially, so that I could see the wheels mounted on the G and determine if I could go with a flat cap instead of the curved one [a flat cap will work for me].
