yeah I know the rims will fit what about tires? what tire size to get? eg. 245/275 255/285 or 265/295 and at what profile???

I have a 2006 G35 sedan lowered on Tein S-Techs (2" front/1.5" rear drop). I was looking at buying EXE Image wheels with a staggered. The front would be 19x8.5 with a +38 offset running 225/40/19 tire and rear would be 19x9.5 with a +40 offset running 255/35/19 tire. Will I have to roll my rear fenders? Also how much harsher would my ride be with a 35 series in the rear. I am running OEM 18 sport wheels now.

If I have to roll fenders, I may just go with a staggered 18's. I found 18x8 with a +45 offset running 225/45/18 tire for front and 18x9 with a +45 offset running 255/40/18 in the rear.

 

Those are some high @ss offsets. Don't need to roll the fenders flat, but give them a nice roll and the 9.5+40 with 255/35 will fit fine. I had the coupe 19s, 8.5 +33 on a 245/40 and after the roll, no rubbing and almost flush.

If you wanna keep the meat on the tires, just stick with that and worst case scenario, and a TINY bit of negative camber and adjust your toe and you'll be fine.

18x8 +45 and 18x9 +45 are going to be such weak offsets, I'm not saying go aggressive, but they're going to be sunk in. I highly advise against it.

 

Sup fellas. I'm about to order my SF challenges in +15 F +11R 19x9.5 19x10.5 and was wondering if some of ya have done this off set yet? The norm is +28 +23 on the challenges but i wanted to go a lil more aggressive but not as aggressive as +3 all the way around. Kinna curious if this look will look any good. I know i gotta fender roll and most likely have negative camber. But other than that im pretty sure i'll clear bbk and im good to go ya? If any one has pictures of their set up can ya post with +15 F +11R

Thanks. I think I will go with the 19's. The EXE are designed to stay tucked under the fender well. Also I am running coupe spec's alignment on my sedan, which give it a little more camber in the rear. I was hoping I didn't need to roll my fenders, but it look like I am going to have too.

 

Hey guys, I'm kind of new here and I was hoping to get some advice on wheel fitment for my '05 coupe.

Right now my setup is...
Rims: TSW Thruxton 18"x8"
Front Wheel Size (with offset): 18x8+20
Rear Wheel Size (with offset): 18x8+20
Front Tire Size: 245/40/18
Rear Tire Size: 245/40/18
Suspension: Stock '05 coupe suspension with Eibach ProKit springs

Both the front and rear wheels are tucked too far under the car in my opinion and I'm trying to get a more aggressive stance. I was thinking about doing +15mm in the front and +25mm in the back. Would that be too far? Would there be any fitment issues?

honestly thats bad judement on wheels. BUT I'm here to help you.

I'd say 15mm front and 30mm rear

35mm spacer would be better but thats too much of a spacer and roll your rear fenders just to be safe.

 

I've thought about selling them but two of the wheels have some minor curbage (from accident in previous car, salvaged only wheels) and I dont know where to start or what to ask for them.

I would love to upgrade the wheels as well, but not much extra cash while going to college. Actually switched to these because the tires on the OEM 19's are pretty much done. So I was hoping to make these last while I work on other performance and aesthetic mods.

Any recommendations?
