Offsets, drops, and all that stuff

I've searched around and found some threads on this, but I'm still not completely satisfied with the information I've gotten.

I'm planning on getting some Varrstoen ES2.2.2's, but I can't decide in which offset. I'm considering +22 or +12. I'm not entirely sure if I will be dropping the car soon, so how will +12's look with no drop? In addition, from what I understand I'll have to purchase a rear camber kit even without a drop? I wasn't able to find many pictures of the +22, so how close to being flush is that?

18x11 +9 needed an 8mm spacer to clear some suspension components.

so 11 +1.

a 10.5 +7 sits at the same inner position as 11 +1.

might be a few millimeters off.

+12 will sit pretty flush with the fender , depending on drop a rear fender roll may be needed , rear camber kit is a must unless you want to buy a bunch of tires . dont bother with +22 , +12 is fine and not aggressive , will look just right.

Agreed. I have +25 and they are nowhere near flush.

XXR521 20x10.5 on a sedan

Looking at getting these wheels for my 2004 35 Sedan
XXR 521 20x10.5 +30. Front and rear
(FYI, i don't care they are fake, cheap, heavy, blah blah blah)

iv read a few threads now where people have them on their sedans and have one quick question

all the threads iv read of sedans with these exact 10.5's on the front have said they used spacers.. some say its because they have bigger brembos(20mm spacers).. but even guys with standard brakes on teh front have used spacers(10mm Spacers). iv noticed alot of guys with the same rims in 8.5+32 with out spacers.
so i wanna know do i HAVE to run spacers with the xxr521 20x10.5+30 on the front of my 04 sedan with standard (not brembo) calipers for any reason other then "stance" reasons?

i do not want to run spacer on my car. i will look at different wheels if its required with these

are there any other issues with these rims on a sedan other then rolling gaurds slightly??

Cheers
GeNOS

hard to tell. +30 is a pretty weak offset for a rwd vehicle when it comes to aftermarket wheels. they're probably running spacers to make them fit "flush". Or they could be running spacers to solve any rubbing problems around the suspension/brakes. Like I said, +30 is a pretty shitty offset. especially on a 20" wheel. but theres nothing wrong with spacers if you dont cheap out. if you like the wheels then buy them. if you need spacers then buy some. millions of people have spacers behind their wheels, myself included.

Man I have learned a lot of things on this forum about how a good intake works , plenum, exhaust, etc. etc. But I'm reading all this stuff about wheels, tires, drop height, camber, etc. and I'm confused as F***.

I'll try and figure it all out by the time I have the money to lower my car and buy rims next summer, this summer is all power mods!!

3 questions...Would 20x10 et15 f and 20x10 et15 rear on a 03 g coupe with brembos require any fender rolling(lowered 1 inch)
And what would be tire specs to run for a none stretched look? 255/35/20 front? 255/30?.............Rear 275/30 or 35?
Will these specs clear brembos?

I just mounted my wheels. 20x9 +13 245/35 and 20x11 +13 275/30 and am rubbing pretty bad in the back. I was wondering what I should do first, because I plan on going a little lower. Should I get my fenders rolled now and will I be still good to go when I go lower or should I wait till I lower my car then get my fenders rolled? Also what kind of alignment specs should I have?

..How low are you?..I would definitely roll b4 going lower if you already rub...Sure you need atleast 3degress neg in back....

I'm lowered on 350z S-tech springs and plan to do the spring mount mod. So I wouldn't need to get them rolled again after I do the mod?
