i think i'm rubbing...
It looks like i'll be rubbing but not 100% sure yet.
i'm on 18" 350z track wheels. they are 18x8.5 +33 offset. with a 265/40 tire in the back with a 350z spring/strut drop on a AWD sedan, i picked up 05 springs so they are the revised ones.
as the car sits i have roughly 1 finger gap if that between the tire and fender. Since the wheels are pretty much flush if not a little sticking out I would think a fender roll would help but in my case i really dont think a fender roll will help.
i dont hear any noises that remote sounds like rubbing when i hit bumps, is there a distince noise. I looked at the tire after a 10 mile drive and i didn't see any minor cuts.
what do you guys think my options are now, I think if i return to stock it would just feel weird. I'm looking to pick up coupe springs on the quicks.

i am also having the same problems. To me it sounds like rubbing but i am not 100% positive and would like to know for sure. I am dropped on tein s-techs running volk gt-s 19x10.5/+18 with 275/35/19 in the rear. I have about a 1 finger gap. The wheels are pretty flush like yours too and is real close to the fender. However when I check, there is no sign of any damage on my tires or fender. But when I drive and hit small dips or turn real hard, i hear this noise like its rubbing. I want to know if this is normal or do I need to get my fenders rolled or cut? I plan on eventually dropping it even lower and getting a camber kit for the rears later on. I've seen a lot of people with gts that are slammed and have no rubbing issues, so I would like to check on here with the rest of them to see what the deal is.

I have no problem paying someone to roll my fenders if i thought that would solve my problem. if my tire can touch the OUTER EDGE of my fender, how do you think rolling a fender would be....
I'll get pictures up tomorrow to show you what i'm talking about. But i'm getting the coupe springs.

the suspension cambers in as it moves through its travel. You cannot determine if it is going to rub just by looking at it while it isn't moving. Just jack the car up and put one of the wheels on a couple pieces of wood to simulate a compressed suspension, then lower it back down to determine if its rubbing

i think its a combo of both. I'm going to do the jacking up thing for sure tho. thanks redlude
on coupes and Z, 265 is rather nothing but on the sedan its gets a little agreesive, i can tell you from that picture posted, my wheel is sitting out more and at equal height.
looking at that picture i would of just gone out and had mines rolled to be on the safe side.
