M45 rims on 2003 G35 Sedan.. question about spacer

i just got some m45 rims and the fronts don't fit without a spacer, the question is will 5mm spacer clear the tires from the control arm? i've read that sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. also, at what point will i need longer studs? would i need longer studs for 5mm or 5/16 inch spacers?

From my understanding you don't need longer studs just yet. Anything bigger than 5mm will probably require extended studs. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I would get 15mm all around. Trust me it will look better.
