I have 5 AT and I was wondering if i can get stoptech brakes just the front or is it better to get the whole front and rear? whats the downside of getting just front stoptech brakes?

There really isn't that much of a downside to getting just the front brakes. The only real reason, besides looks, to get the rear kit would be if you're going to track (road race) the car. In that case, the rears are too small to take the heat.

The front brakes will look huge compared to the rears though. That's the only drawback I can think of.

Re: Brake Choices ~~

Hey Bombrush, Just MHO, I too drive a 5AT Sedan and was thinking of going with a bigger brake kit for the looks and performance, but the $$ is a little high, about $1500 + on the low side just for the front. And I feel the brakes are adiquate for my style of driving. I agree with AL503, the rears will only be helpfull on the track. SO, for about $45, I painted my calipers (red) and added the infiniti caliper stickers. And let me say, it looks amazing! I do not have any pic's yet, but if you look at gurgenpb's profile, you can see what they look like. I am not sure what you are looking for specificaly, but if it is just for a better look, you may want to consider doing just this.

03 Sedan,Clear Corners, Blinker Mirrors, Stillen: HFAB, GK, Exhaust, Z-Tube, Eibach Pro Kit, 18'' XS Style 420's
