Is 235/35/19 and 245/35/19 safe for OEM 19s?
Right now I have 245/35/19 front and 245/40/19 rear(no issues) but I need one new rear tire bad. An local opportunity just popped up to get a set of 2 Falkens but they're 235/35/19.
So I'm thinking I can take my 2 newer 245/35 front tires and move them to the rear while I use the 235/35 Falkens for the front wheels.
What do you guys think? Is this safe to use on the OEM 19s without the VDC going crazy?
Or should I just drop the idea and find a replacement 245/40 tire and call it a day?

Dropping to 35 profile in the rear would be a 3.5% diameter difference. Ref:

That's more than the 3% rule of thumb used by the tire community and not recommended. Your speedo would be off by quite a bit at high speeds and that can become annoying. The very very popular size for the G35 rear is 255/40/19. This is due to a substaintially wider selection of tires in that size compared with stock. The size that you have in the front right now is also the very popular front size due to wider selection. 245/35/19 front and 255/40/19 rear are both within the 3% limit and there are bazillions of people on driver using that exact setup. Falken FK452 and Kumho ASX are both very affordable in those sizes.
