$5,000+ AXIS wheels.. pretty nice

While I was insanely bored and basically just looking at all different wheels from both companies I cant even almost afford all the way down to the popular knock-off companies I stumbled across a new wheel on Axis' website.

its built from the ground up for the R35 GTR, its a 3 piece forged wheel that can be ordered in all sorts of custom finishes including colored accents and even carbon fiber wrapped..

sizes range from 20x10 - 20x12 but I cant seem to find any offset information.

I thought "damn these look pretty nice and coming from axis shouldnt be too expensive" (price isnt listed on their homepage). so I googled the wheel and cant seem to find them for under $5,200

needless to say, out of my budget, but they are pretty sick and I wonder if they could fit a G35?

linky~

with a bit more searching I found this info:
AXIS wheels latest wheel for the Nissan GT-R which recently made it’s debut at SEMA is now priced and ready for sale. Named ATTACK it’s available in two different sizes for the Nissan GT-R.

First up for the standard Nissan GT-R tires we have the 20×10 +45mm front and 20×11 +19 mm rear wheels. These are available in painted finish or with a carbon fibre look rim.

For those going for the larger sized tires like the Toyo Proxes R888 you can actually fit these 20×10.5″ 50mm front and 20×12″ 30mm rears under the GT-R’s ample guards.

Available now, build time is around the 3 week mark and price is around the $1350 USD per corner mark for painted or $1750 USD per corner for the carbon fibre look rim.
a few pics

im not sure, I got mine used for 1,300 w/ low tread tires.

but before i found them used I was looking around for new and I think the cheapest I found w/o tires was around 1600 NEW (for the staggered 20's).

i'm willing to bet that are made by another company and rebranded. Just like they did with those Rays wheels awhile back

That's a lot of money for a wheel that isn't even nice looking.

3 piece, forged, customizable finishes and sizes.....sounds about right for a suggested retail price.

No need to talk smack saying it's overpriced just b/c they're known for less expensive wheels.
