Powdercoat color vs Original color of Volk rims

Hey guys. Is there any possible ways to find out which one is powdercoat color and which one is the original color of Volk LE28N vs CE28N or TE37 vs LE37. Since the two is similar to each other except for the fact that LE28N and LE37 come with polished lips and they are discontinued. My local rim shop is selling a set of LE28N in gold with polished lips, they are very nice and I really want to jump on them but Im afraid that they are powdercoated. And I'm also interested in a set of LE37 in gold with polished lips on 350Z forum. The inner lips of the LE28N are also in gold, I dont know is that what they are called, inner lips or barrels but the whole rim is in Gold except for the polished lip. Please help me out because I love these color and I also want to learn about these things. Thank you.

you got a good taste man. Those are sick wheels and will give a really clean look on IP. I got a set of LE28N in gold and polished lips too. But the thing is that I dont even know how to tell which one is powder coated and which one is original from Volks. I found these info on the stickers: Rays, CE28N, PCD, offsets and specs of the wheels. But the guy who traded these for my old SF Winning set told me that these are LE28N. And yea, the rims are completely gold except for the lips like you said. I guess they are real LE28N.

Anyone wanna chime in?

Thanks for the input. Yah I know that Gold rims on IP will be the cleanest look but Gold rims will also look good on OB and Blue 350Z. That's why im so temted and wanna jump right on them since they are gold and they will look good on my different car colors.

Can anyone help me to clarify on the powder coat color and the original color? please help me.
