I ended up getting the Bearing and the wheel Hub for 276.00 with shipping from a dealership in New Jersey which is way cheaper then infitipartusa has them both for. Had them pressed and put on today and it turns out it was the problem so happy to not have to listen to that noise! If you want this guys email shoot me a private msg.

Can anyone comment if those directions are the same for a G35x? or if this is a hard part to replace? I've replaced the rotors / pads on my car so it doesnt look much more difficult than removing the rotor and some other bolts and replacing the hub/bearing..... any comments from people who have replaced this part?
thanks

mine is a 05 g35x that just hit 80k miles

I have a front hub wheel bearing assembly for 50 bucks shipped. One of mine went bad so I replaced both sides. It has 74k on it. It spins smooth and it doesn't grind. The only thing is that I broke a stud putting it on the ground.

Guys im about to give you the best tip of your life and save you money....Here is my story...I just bough my G35 sedan and I started noticing little by little a weird noise coming from the front driver side describes like tire rubbing, chain slapping noise and it increased as I sped up. Anyhow my friend he works for Infinity the dealership here in South Florida and he check it out in his house and told me that it was the wheel bearing going bad so I checked like u guys all around I got quoted for the wheel assembly up to 485 dollars yeah F**** right....anyways i told my friend and he said look the parts dept for Infinity and Nissan have to grand as a distributor price when you mention your a courrier for a BODY SHOP just say that you are a body shop and badda bing badda boom they will give you distributor MAP price meaning I GOT THE WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY AND THE BEARING PRESSED ON BRAND SPANKING NEW FOR 180.00 OUT THE DOOR!! LOL anyhow times are hard..... Infinity and Nissan make enough money so why not cut a break to the loyal consumer who stand by the brand and quality of the products...Hope this helps anyone... dj ekua

Did this today, learned a couple of things..when removing the 120ftlb torqued caliper 22mm bolts you WILL break a Craftsman 3/8in ratchet mechanism when using a breaker bar...at least they have a lifetime warranty right? Went and got a breaker bar, that worked.
New tools purchased for this job: Breaker bar 18.00, 22mm socket 3.99, 1/2 to 3/8 adapter 3.99, Torque wrench 36.99 (Amazon), cheater pipe 3.99 (Home Depot),
Total cost of tools 66.96 + bearing and hub 148.00 (Circle Infiniti)= 214.00
I saved some money and got "free" tools too!
Thanks for the helpful write up-

I think i might have the same problem with my coupe. My front right seems to be dragging and making a grinding noise at low speeds, but as speed increases, its fine. I had new rims installed, and it started happening after that.

Bumping old thread

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...ntifier=110560

Autozome shows $170 for a fromt wheel bearing/hub assembly. Can someone confirm this is the bearing and hub pressed together?

A google search shows this pn available on rockauto.com as well...for $89 though. Shows pic of bearing only

http://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/x,cata..._BM500013.html

I need BOTH fromt wheel bearings on my car...so looking for best price. A bearing/hub assembly would make install so much more easier.

Timkin, while not oem...is a great bearing manufacturer and is oem in other cars

need help as well

I'm a bit of a n00b guys, so I'm hoping someone can confirm what I think I understand.

For rwd sedans, you can either get the bearing itself and have it pressed in (more labour) or buy the hub and bearing together as one piece for an easier install. for awd sedans, you have no choice but to buy separately.

I'd like to order two hubs (+ bearings) but cant seem to figure out which is the correct part, without exception!, from the various auto stores.

For example, from Timken, is it: TIMKEN Part # HA590027 or BM500013?

Can anyone confirm?
