which tire all around for AWD sedan

Actually 2 questions but they go with each other.

1. which tire would be more ideal 245/40/18 or 245/45/18. In terms of pricing, sizing, looks and comfort. This can be either a all-season or a summer only. I'm only using them in the summer.

2. I'm running track wheels on a AWD. They are staggered 18x8 +30 and 18x8.5 +33. I know if ran 245/40 or 245/45 it will fit with no issues regardless of drop. Now if i ran 18x8.5 +33 all around, would i risk rubbing?

I'm asking because i mounted a bare rear rim on my car just to check out the clearance, the back part of the rim ( i think its call backspacing) is about .75inches away from the suspension arm. If a tire was mounted it would be VERY close to be rubbing at times.

I dont want to run any type of camber JUST to fit these wheels. I want to run stock alignment specs when the car lowered with about 1 finger gap all around which is near a 2inch drop and no spacer. Can i run either size tire on 18x8.5 +33 all around?

I know i can 245/45 on the 18x8 +30 because i have 235/45 in the fronts now but i'm wondering about the 8.5 rim.

Typically see the 245/45 all around on the car. 40's seem a bit on the short side. Most of the 35mm offset wheels we have are 8" vs. 8.5" wide so I cant say for sure if that extra 1/4" is going to cause an issue. More than likely not, however.

i know for a fact that 245/45 will work on the 8 inch rim at +30 because i know another member use to run that exact sizing with the same wheel. I dont know how much 8.5 +33 changes everything. I'm feeling that i should be able to run it if need be. Seems like the price diffrence is only a $5-10 per tire which isn't huge. But i think having a 45 sidewall will make for a more comfortable ride.

anyone on it fitting?

I know a 265/40/18 on 8.5 +33 will not fit. As it rubs the suspension.
