WILL BE ON AN OB COUPE!

As many of you know i was stuck on the Work Variana's for quite a while, but I find right now I just need to stick a little more conservative price wise so I'd like your input on these!
STERN ST-2's 20x8.5 +20 and 20x9.5 +30....Question is...

BLACK w/ polished lip(sporty) or CHROME(flashy)

1. BLACK w/ Polished Lip
-vs-
2. CHROME

i am also interested in these wheels, the 19" ones of course. But i wanted to hear other peoples opinions on these. I want the black with polished lips. I also have a conservative budget for my car. Are these wheels heavier than say the stock 18's on an 04 coupe?

thanks for any input

Not really a fan of them, but they arent real bad either. These rims go for pretty cheap. If they are going on a black car, I'd go with the black rim. Just wondering, what kind of budget are you guys looking to stay within?

Going from Work Varianza to Stern is quite a compromise, to put it lightly. Why not roll on stockers or better yet, get OEM forged 19s? They will cost you under a grand in mint condition if you wait for a deal, and they will look and perform better in every aspect imaginable than those Sterns.

Not to mention the offsets you want to get are absolutely horrible for a coupe. 20x8.5 +20 and 20x9.5 +30 is gonna look skinny and sunken in.

Not trying to be rude, I just hate seeing people paying to (massively) downgrade from OEM quality. That being said, if you still want to go with Stern, get the black ones. Anything is better than chrome.

To be honest...I've been thinking about it and i'm saving over winter for the Varianza's....but to go against your "anything is better than chrome".....they WILL be in BC! ...looks SIIICK on a black car

I think you are right. Right now, i just don't have the budget with work and business and stuff. These stern's look good but of course the OEM 19's are higher quality. I may see if I can find a nice slightly used set of oem 19's online. Just to be clear, the OEM 19's clear stock 04 brembos right?
I appreciate the advice, and I do realize in order to get both high quality and good looks i probably have to spend quite a bit more than my budget.
I really wanted some nice black wheels with polished lips for my black 04 coupe but $1000 budget for all 4 wheels is too little
