Should I get staggered rims?

Should I get staggered rims or normal rims for my g35coupe. Im planning to get 20". Does staggered rims make the car look ricey? I liked the staggered look at first, but I started to think staggered should only be for like SUVs or Sedans, not sporty cars.

WHAT?!? ... since when did staggered rims become ricey? plzzz.. staggered rims are the way to go when it comes to high performance rear wheel drive sports cars.. OF COURSE YOU SHOULD GET THEM!!! It brings out the aggressive look.. depending on your configuration. A lot of Mustangs have staggered rims, not to mention a **** load of Zs and Gs.

What type of Rims are you looking into? Volks? Work?

Staggered rims are not ricey, those rims you're looking at are kind of generic though but they look alright.

hell no 2k is NOT cheap to me either, all the wheels I've bought have been used. I'm just letting you know when compared to other wheels out there the Ruff wheels are more generic/cheap.

You should look in the for sale section I'm sure you'll find a decent set for a good deal, check on MY350z.com also. I picked up my set of Volks originally with tires shipped for $2200 used but still in very good shape about 8/10 condition. I now have a set of Advan Racing wheels that normally cost $2200 for just the RIMS, I picked up a set with tires shipped to my door for $1600.... see the trend here? Shop around bro.

I say buy them, smack a curb hard, then report back here and let us know if they're any good.

Couldn't tell ya mOney, we have way to many pot holes on our freeways for me to take a chance on 20"s. With 30 series tires I can't imagine the ride is great, there's just not enough rubber between you and the road to have a decent ride. Having read more than a few threads on this subject quite a few members didn't like the ride they got.... Then there's the short life that 20" tires have, I seriously doubt they ever see anything close to 30K miles a set!

Stagger yes (had to) and I've ridden in a few G's with 20's. Ride is certainly different but I LOVE the extra stability in the twisty stuff (20's have also meant much wider than the stockers for me which accounts for most of the improved handling)
