Tire blow out again......please help me tire gurus

Hello G35 Brothers,

I have had a set of wheels (Sevas 20x8.5 and 20x10) on my car for about 2 years now and none of the tires have issues but the front passenger front tire. I have replaced this tire one before because it completely went flat while I was driving home from a car show. When we took the tire off the inner tire was completely worn down to the point the tread was showing. I thought maybe that it was due to the car being lowered 1.75 inches all the way around and the car could not be realigned to factory specs all the way around. But, I researched on the forum and seen no one really having issues with a lowered G35. From my research, Possibly a grove was worn into the tire because the tire was under inflated and I was driving on it. So I got the tire replaced.

NOW, fast forward to today (4 months later) and the SAME F******* tire completely goes flat while driving. I pull over and look at the tire and the inner tire is ONCE AGAIN worn out to the point the tread is once again showing and a grove was worn all the way around. A month prior to this I took my car to the tire shop and told them that the tire is loosing air rapidly (like 10-15 psi a week) and I have to keep putting air in it. They tell me nothing is wrong because they put the tire in a tank of water and pumped it up and seen no bubbles appear nor was any damage done to the tire. SO how is it now that the same tire is damaged just like before? I'm completely lost guys and pissed off.

Also, the car stays aligned every 3 months and gets a balance done very 1 to 2 months due to it being lowered and ATL'S CRAPPY roads.

What could have caused this guys and gals?

Here is what i'm thinking
1) the rims is bent and wore a grove in the tire thus separating the bead(because only ONE front tire is having this same issue)
2) the tire was improperly put on the rim and the bead was damaged.
3) the car is just too low.......should i get a new set of springs and raise it to 1.35 inches?

As a note, I've just discovered that two other people had issues with their tire loosing air rapidly while driving and they all went to the same shop.

Please help i'm already in the 300 dollars!

Suspension set up
Eibach sport line springs
Tokico 5 adjustable shocks
SPC front and rear camber kit.

Wheels
Sevas 20x8.5 in front
Sevas 20x10 in rear.

I had a similar problem and it turned out my rim was cracked.

your wheel is cracked... If the tire place doesn't see that when they're mounting your tires then take it to another shop cause they suck. The Sevas are reverse mount wheels (meaning the tire has to be mounted with the rim on the machine upside down so the inner barrell is easily visible and any crack should be easily seen.)

You didn't mention the quality of the tire you are using Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, US, or Michelin?

Kumho SPT's. Albeit they aren't the highest quality tire, they're a decent middle of the road performance tire. Sevas are well known for cracking, and if it has happened twice on the same corner of the car, it's definitely a cracked wheel.

OP... tell the shop to dunk the wheel/tire assembly upside down so the barrel of the wheel is facing upwards. For some reason the bubbles dont like to creep up to the top very easily when the barrel is faced down.

Only other thing i can think of would be if you have the factory TPMS in the wheels and didnt get a rebuild kit when they transfered them from the OEM wheels. Sometimes the rubber grommet fails and needs to be replaced.

I just replaced my Kumho's, the inside of them wore out down to the threads, but my front in was toed in really badly.
Those tires roared all the time. My new Nankins ride great.

Sounds like your wheel is bent or cracked. It's behaving like one of my old wheels that was cracked.
