Am I completely screwed? I need advice
I ordered some Armano Dunamis 20X8.5's from a website last monday for my Sedan.
Their website advertsed offsets of 20,25,30,35, and 40. On my order form I put under vehicle info that the wheels must be greater then or equal to 35 offset.
I get a call today (Friday) from them asking about wheel fitment... the guy on the phone asks if a _+20 will be ok? I told him no those will definately not work... he then told me he could put on spacers to get it to +34 . I said Ok and that was it.
I was an idiot for not researching spacers. Now i realize they will be a complete pain in the *** both money and time wise and the wheels still might not even fit.
Their website also says "All Cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking fee"
I know they haven't shipped my wheels. Should I call them tommorow morning and DEMAND they cancel my order (i'll order from somewhere with +40's) and not charge me the outrageous 600 dollar restocking fee for wheels not even mounted on the tires yet ( i hope). If they are mounted I'l gladly pay their 60 dollar cleaning fee......
Anyone got any advice for me? I'm stuck

I might be bass ackwards on this, but if you put a spacer on a et+20 wheel it will make it et+6 not +34. The smaller the number the farther out the wheels are and the larger the number the more tucked in they are. Adding a spacer reduces the offset not increases it. He might have given you bogus info in which case you can tell him go study his s--t more while you go buy from someone who knows what they are talking about.

Out of curiousity, who did you order the wheels from? I would definitely go with at least a 40 offset with a 20x8.5 on a sedan. 35 will probably rub.
Tell them to go f themselves and file a complaint with your credit card company along the lines of fraud. They are trying to force you to buy a product that you did not request.

I've seen a few G sedans with 35 so i figured it would be ok but now I realize 40 is the way to go

Yes, a spacer would lower the offset, a 15 mm spacer on a +20 would yeild a +5 offset.
+35 would be pretty aggressive on the Sedan, it would look slightly bug-eyed and you may have to roll the fender, but it would likely work. As mentioned +38 or higher would be ideal.
