Volk SF Winnings 'question'

Hello, I am looking into getting SF Winnings on my Twilight Blue coupe. 1st question, whats the difference in color between the Mercury silver and the silver?. I dont think the gold or the gunmetal would look that great on the TB. I saw the Gunmetal on a DG coupe and it looked GREAT but on TB I think it wouldn't do. Also I have seen them for 2,250 so far as the lowest pice on lineand as much as 2,800. Anyone know who has the lowest price on these in 19's?

Thanks alot

Re: Volk SF Winnings 'question'

Obviously, I have them on DG in gunmetal. I don't think there is any difference between Mercury silver and silver. I think Mercury silver is their silver. I think the best price you could find would be around $2,100-$2,200 plus perhaps shipping or tax and installation.

Here's a pic of gunmetal on a TB for you: Gunmetal SF Winnings on TB

Re: Volk SF Winnings 'question'

Yours is the DG I saw that looked nice Gfly. The link you set up shows a CB coupe instead of a TB coupe. Thanks for the link tho, it gives me a different idea of what they would look like in a different color.

When I look on line Mercury silver and silver are two different color options. Of course they do not post pics of the different options on their websights.

Thanks

Oh yeah, that would be CB. LoL. I think it would look good on TB, though. Where are you seeing the mercury silver and silver as two different options? Like here on the raywheels manufacturer's site: Raywheels. It lists mercury silver and gold as the two main colors, and gunmetal would be a special color.

Re: Volk SF Winnings 'question'

There are a couple sites with the silver / mercury silver. And some sights like you said with the gold and mercury silver options with Gunmetal a +30 per wheel charge.

http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templa...585&SearchYN=N

That is one sight and another is.

www.350zmotorsports.com/volksfwinning.html

another is

www.division-3.com/wheels_frame/volk.html

Im thinking that the silver or the merc silver would stand out against the TB better and gunmetal might get lost in the darker paint where it shows Very Nice on the DG and lighter paints

Re: Volk SF Winnings 'question'

Those look nice Profile4, I think the Merc Silver is probably what I'll go with. What sizes do you have on there? offsets? and does the tire pressure guages still work with these rims?

Re: Volk SF Winnings 'question'

What no Mercury Silver???? Sigh / Mike do the tire pressure sensors still work with these wheels on the 04 model? I also have a 5AT non brembo if that makes a difference.... Are you going to be getting any Merc Silver anytime soon? I just don't think the gunmetal would do the TB justice.

Thanks
