abnormal treadwear solution?

i recently purchased a set of 350Z 18's for my winter setup. They came with Dunlop Winter Sport M3s. Good tread left, however, on closer examination, the tread is more worn on the inside. My question is, should I have the tires flipped around on the rim so that the inside is on the outside, and vice versa? Will that help with the future tread wear? I currently have factory suspension.
Thanks

Differential side to side wear is caused by excess negative camber. Tires are designed for +- 0.5 degrees max camber but to enhance handling more negative camber is used.

Remember alignment is actually misalignment, [sitting still] numbers created by factory to be roughly correct driving straight down road at 55 mph.

Thanks for the feedback... so, should I flip them?

If you have adequate tread depth left go ahead and have them mounted on the other side. Just make sure they are rotating fwd and not backwards.

You mean putting the tires on the right on the left and vice versa, yes, that would really help with the treadwear. You can do this because your tread is symmetrical. But it's also directional so make sure they are still rolling forward as said. Don't flip them on the same rim as then they would be rotating backwards.

Don't assume that directionality means much after a directional tire is worn even half way by 8,000 miles it is pretty meaningless for water evacuation.
The noise tuning is also gone so the noise increases significantly as the tread depth changes.

Members should consider less aggressive camber levels with winter tires as they are less like to drive frisky anyway, to prolong life of winter tires.

Tires function best for durability and treadwear when camber is -0.5>0>+0.5 degrees.

cool, thanks all. I think I got it. I'll need to take both tires off the wheel, trade sides and then flip them. And, as some of you mentioned, the tires are directional so this should make them roll the right way. Thanks, again.
