What the HECK! Eibach problem

I was looking at the rear springs today and every coil is sitting on top of each other except for three on the bottom. Its like this on both sides. Why is this?Is this right?

Can't edit. It sounds like coil bind. How does it ride?

is it rattling when you hit a bump? or making a clinking sound? if so it might have sagged already. this is the reason why i stay away from this brand of springs but this is just me.

Thats how Eibach springs are. Progressive rate. Usually 1/3 to 1/2 of the total length will be bunched up. Its totally normal. Unless of course the car rides horribly. Then there might be a problem.

Congratulations! You have just won 1 million punches in the face!

Re: What the HECK! Eibach problem

I had them on a '90 eclipse and a 2001 eclipse and the rear springs on both cars were like that. I said that most cars do it. Some more than others.
