TPMS Sensor Corrosion

I went to have my snow tires mounted on my 2004 G35X today at local tire place and was told my TPMS sensors had corrosion and they couldn't get them off without risking breaking at least a couple of them. They say I should take it to Infinity dealer because they will have the right sensor's. I have extended warranty and hope it will cover replacement of sensors. I think it should.

Always make sure the air you use to inflate tires has low moisture content.

They will corrode quickly without having the caps on. Also road salt.

Make sure that you use plastic valve stem caps, because the metal ones will get stuck as well as the valve core.

Costco sells them? Wow, would have never known that. So they sell TPMS's but are no longer going to stock Coca Cola products.
