Any opinions on BOSS rims

I have local seller who is getting rid of his 20' BOSS 335 chrome rims with tires. He had them on a 2006 G35 didn't mention coupe or sedan dont know if that would matter. I assume 2003 and 2006 models would have same bolt patterns.

I have an 03 coupe with brembos, wasn't sure if anyone can help me determine if these would fit without clearance issues.

here the wheel specs.

20*8.5 +25MM offset 34 pounds.

offset is only off by 5 from stock. 18' 7 spoke rims

also any reviews on boss rims would be great. any opinions, things i should worry about, extra costs i might incur. they going for 1200 CAN. I thought might be a good deal seeing they have 90% tread on 245/35/20 tires all around. he had a "lease" return that came up.

I do agree with you. I had the silver coupe thought it would look alright. wheel width is small but was planning on getting a wider tire in back. i just thought the price with tires was actually pretty decent.

from what i checked out i think i could wrap 275 35 20 in the back which would make it look alright i thought.

Not looking for anything too crazy. dont want to have to roll fenders or camber kits and what not. just looking for simple look. But the price was what was intriguing me the most.

any other opinions, or someone with similar specs. good point you made, i guess seeing it on a car would help.

yeah man, i'd pass...you'll probably end up paying close to $2k(with tires) with shipping and handling. Might as well get a nice high-quality set of used wheels and tires...probably cheaper too.

sorry guys just to make sure everyone on the same page rims and tires all in one package for 1200 CAN.
just to let you know if i bought cheap rims off ebay for 349 plus 125 shipping (Stern 19's)would probably cost after conversion, duties and taxes 2200. thats why these loook appealing.

the only thing holding me back is the rim size as in 20X8.5 front and back?
i can still do the 245/35/20 upfront (which tire package it comes with) and 265 or 275/35/20 in the back after i kill this set of rears, unless im wrong? which i could be i dont know anything about rims and tires. for canadians everything is double what americans pay, maybe its the medical system making the differnce no offense to anyone.

i understand everyone againsts it but someone please tell me exactly why i should not buy for 1200 becuase im just seeing people say "they dont look good" for 1200 canadian if you look at it at a site like
http://www.carkraze.ca/product_info....products_id=96
which is showing canadain prices its 300 a rim. for you guys in the states its probably 800 for the package. here its 1200 for the rims alone minumum.

so please tell me what i might be thinking wrong and why i can;t see whatim thinking wrong. again its 1200 for 20X8.5 with 245.35.20 all around. offset ?was +25 all around.
intial question was will it clear brembos? if not what kind of spacers?

thanks for all previous help, just need someone to spell out why im not buying a smart decision. thanks to whoever helps

why don't you just buy them? whats the point in asking anymore? people already stated dont buy chrome wheels for a g35 and you dont listen, so go for it, your car man

people often buy reputable wheels for 1 the looks and 2 the quality and peace of mind

Those rims = wack. Staggered is the best (and only) way to go on a coupe.

Boss sucks, heavy, cheap and S&*t quality. I glanced at them for a second, and never looked back. I am sure they wrapped these rims in some cheap tire as well.

To each there own, but its your car - so do what you want.

Chrome is okay for some rims, when its the lip on a staggered fitment.

Boss is right there with Ikon rims - all cheap rims.

Don't waste your money on those cheap POS wheels. Save you're money or use it for something that will actually improve the performance/look of the car.
