wheel spacers and wheels not having recession in back

did a search someone had asked this but it never got answered, i want to get 20mm spacers but i dont know if i need to get the ones with extended lugs or the ones with built in lugs. my wheels currently dont had the recessions in the back to the existing lugs can go into it. All i need to know is that if i get ones with built in studs will a 20mm spacer fit over the existing lugs deep enough so i dont need to get extended lugs. not sure if this exactly makes sense....thanks

yup, Kris79 is correct.

I bought 15mm and 20mm spacers with adapters and had the same problem.
was down to either shaving the stock studs or digging "grooves" in the back of my Racinghart C4s. neither option was what i really wanted to do.

then i did more research and found i could have avoid this problem with H&R DRS style wheel spacers.

just purchased the H&Rs, and will have them put in this week.

cant wait!!!

You have to get at least 25mm if there are no opening in the back of the wheel. 20mm the studs will stick out a lil and wont sit flush with the spacer

I just installed mine yesterday
https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...ifference.html

Fortunately for me, my wheels have slots for the longer wheel studs to fit inside the wheel. But you can see my pics in my thread.

20mm will stick out a few mm. I had to grind mine down with an angle grinder to get them to fit. You should not have any problems if you can go with a 25mm though
