So you are saying that if you hit a pot hole then axis will fix or replace or what?

I too went with 245/40 on the fronts to give a better ride than the 35s and to protect against pot holes.

We had a set of ADR wheels that had stress cracks and they were warranted. As long as there are no abuse marks on the rim, the manufacture should fix them. However, you are right, I went with the 40's as well for that same reason. I was afraid the 20's would give me to harsh of a ride and not enough meat to absorb impact (so much road work in LA).

Yeah I know what you mean as I used to be stationed in San Dog. Now that I got my new wheels I tense up about 20 times a day everytime I see a bump or dip in the road, not to mention potholes. I must scare at least one person a day with my PEMs (Pothole Evasion Maneuvers) lol!

That looks amazing! I'm so jealous!

How close are those to the outside fenders (front & back)? I really wanted those wheels, but according to the G35 fitment chart, at 35mm+ offset, the wheel would be past the fenders... I took negative camber into consideration with my drop, but it was just too close to take a chance.

Have you ever clipped your fenders on bumps?

I have 8.5et+35 Hiros on the front and 9.5et+55 on the rear and it lines up about perfect. My car is not lowered yet though. You can check out pics it you look at my profile.

I have some pics of how close the wheels are to the fender. I was also skeptical about the fitment, but the guy at Serenity Sound guaranteed that if it didn't fit, he would take them back. There is plenty of room up front and about a 1/4" clearance in the back. The car is lowered with Eibach springs and so far no trouble at all.
