Those look amazing! I've never been a fan of gloss black especially on OEM 19s, or of painting/pc'ing OEM wheels in general, but those wheels look awesome.

Good deal - I was about to hop on some Volk GT-F's but I'm thinking about doing this now. It's hard to find stylish light wheels for a decent price.

From the first picture you posted of the 19"s PC'd like that I was kinda skeptical because every time somebody tried to do something with the 19"s lip, it looks ugly because the 19"s lip is way too thick, but from those pics it looks pretty freakin' good. Higher quality pics needed ASAP

If its anything like HPCs product, or a product called Chromex I would stay away from it. yes its a Ceramic coating, and even fairly chrome looking, it also has a very low tensile strength, and dulls very quickly. I actually refuse to use it on parts at this point.

Mike glad you like the wheels

To give people a break down of how it went,

Mike brought me the wheels with tires on, I had them dismounted, had the wheels blasted, applied Black chrome powder, took them to a high end wheel place who began to machine the lip only to find out one wheel was out of round. They fixed that, and machined all the lips
I then applied clear, and had the tired mounted and balanced and filled with nitrogen.

total cost
40 to dismount/mount and balance
200 to machine all 4 lips
255 to sand blast and powder coat with clear.
my guys at the wheel shop didnt charge me to fix the bent rim.

I gotta get some good pics and post em up at http://www.myspace.com/unknowncoatings

I like the gunmetal grey before but, I think I like the look of your better. Do you have any more or, better pics that you can post? Thanks.
