I hopped up a curb and dented my rims and took the expensive cheap route to fix the rays machine n polish the lip and paint the rims gloss black. Originally the lips were painted hyper silver and the rims were painted ob black. I don't know which I liked more.

man they look aftermarket as hell. Im definatly getting mine machined and gunmetal. Props to your Mike. They look great.

 

Lol. Yea the before pics were taken with a crappy blackberry and the car was washed. The after pics were taken with a droid 2 and the car was waxed a week before and washed the day of. Yea I think I like the lip machined but I like the spokes ob black more rather than gloss black. The difference isn't that noticable but it might just be because I know.

 

What about polishing lips instead? What do you think?

That machined lip looks great! They look like different wheels with that. Hmmm, gives me some food for thought on new shoes now..
