Question Aboust Tire Size & VDC

I recently lowered my car (tein s-techs) and purchased some 19's. I was running 225/40/19 on the fronts and 245/45/19 (I thought that was what I needed) on the rear and it was throwing off my VDC. I decided to go down to a 245/35/19 and it fixed my problem.

My question is if I were to go up to a 245/40/19 (which is stock tire size on the oem 19's) would it affect my VDC since my car is lowered or would it not even be an issue?

No you would not have a problem with 245/40/19 on your rears paired up with the 225/40/19 in the front.

Last I checked, 225/45/19 and 245/45/19 were OEM tire sizes on the G35 coupe.

You had the VDC problem the first time because it does not like taller rear tires vs the front. Same size diameter tires front to rear work fine though, so the 245/40/19 should work without issues.

Good luck!

Thanks I appreciate the answer. I was under the impression that stock came with 225/40/19 and 245/40/19 but I guess I was wrong. Thanks for clearing that up.
