Very bad wheel hop anyone know why?????????????????

Angry Very bad wheel hop anyone know why?????????????????

Can anyone answer this ?. I have a 06 coupr 6 speed when i lay into it in 1st gear and the car breaks loose why is there such bad wheel hop to the point where it doesn't sound or feel that great!! it seems to b with alot of these anyone know why? My car has all stock suspention.

Does your rear look like this (black streak marks)?

If so then it's your bushing wearing out and you'll need to replace it. Common cause of wheel hop in our cars.

black streak marks??? what do u mean?? you talkin about the sway bar? sorry don't know what u mean.

i have no idea what you r talkin about on the leftside of the diff. sorry to b so blunt but i dont. and my car only has 30k on it . my friend has a 04 and his does the same thing. i also test drove 2 others and all the same but im tryin to fig. it out and do what ever i need to do to stop it

o maybe you r talkin about the leak? no mine don't look lk that and as far as the bushings i can't see them being worn any outher ideas?? i may b wrong tho

I replaced the stock bushing with the bright blue circular piece you see on the subframe, no more wheel hop after this.

ok so is this the only one or r there more to replace im going to give it a shot cause im puttin a charger on it this week and i can only imagine what its goin to do then!! so where can i find these bushings? any suggestions? thanks!!

You can buy the stock replacement or you can buy the SPL solid ones I have. Z1auto, a sponsor on my350z, carries them.

There are four smaller ones that secures the diff housing, but those are not the ones that will cause a wheel hop. You can replace those as well since the unit will be out. I did it on mine.

did you notice any more road noise or noise from the differential after installing the solid bushing ?
