Wide tire question

I've noticed only a few cars on here running 295 or bigger rear widths. Everyone runs a 275 on their rear. Is it a price thing? I'd want 295 or 305 in the rear. Assuming I rolled my rear's(alot)..... could I fit a 295 on a lowered G coupe without rubbing? What doe's the rear offset need to be? I'd be buying either a 19x10 or 20x10 staggered setup.

Wanting the widest possible, with no rubbing....or Negative camber.

Thanks guys.

then you should prolly go wit a 285 on a 10 i think it will look ghey though IE tire sits over the rim 'fat' not to mention the tire will roll giving the feeling of body roll i made that mistake on my porshce

18x10 on my 1999 Saleen I ran a 295...was factory......didn't "hang over". So if I had a 19x10.5 or 20x10.5.....that should fit it fine with a 295 or 305?

What offset do I need, as to NOT rub on a lowered coupe, and none of that NEGATIVE Camber?
