need help with tire sizing
just got some new wheels but cux the tires are stretched, the gaps are too big.
currently i have 225/40/19 in the fronts with about an inch gap...
without lowering my car anymore, i want to reduce the gap to about 1/2 inch
what size tires should i used..
maybe 235/45/19? what do you guys think?

in the rear, i have 245/35/19
and the gap right now is about 1 1/2 inch...i want to get that down to about 1/2"-3/4"
was thinking 265/45/19

any input will be greatly appreciated

With those sizes, you're going 4% larger in diameter in the front and 6% in rear (over stock). You might run into clearance problems with your suspension and/or body. If you want to go larger, they say 3% larger is about usually best.
now if you go with a taller tire you will more likely have to roll your rear fenders b/c of the rubbing and you would also have to get your speedo adjusted due to the taller tire in the rear. your best bet is to go a little lower just to close the gap + roll ur fenders
