POLL: OEM 19's powder coated or Tenzo R Type M

I have a 04 IP with BBK and recently purchased a set of OEM 19's, the tires came with a lot of wear so I'll need 4 new tires.

245/35/19 F
275/35/19 R will be my choice on both rims.

I will go with the Falken FK452 tires due to budget, but I also found a really good deal on the Nitto Nt05's which I am thinking about doing as well.

Now.... Powdercoating, 25mm V2 spacers all around, and new tires with mounting since I didnt buy online would cost me both a little over $2000 with the Tenzo's costing 300'ish more. So I was thinking of selling the OEM Rays for a set of Tenzos in Metallic black or charcoal.

Im new to owning this G so I don't know what the best decision would be, I dont mind the looks of either rim, and do some aggresive driving. No track use, but will attend the occasional autoX.

Opinions on quality or pros/ cons. Or just give me your 2 cents on what you would do. Thanks!

I'm biased, but I love my Tenzo's (Titanium) The offsets look better than my Rays (I was only running 20mm Fr / 25mm Rr tho) and they just look good. And for my two cents, and yes I KNOW the spacer faithful will break out the lighters, but I just feel more confident on a good wheel setup rather than spacers to get the wider foot print. Also The 8.5 front 10 rear feels MUCH better to me in the twisty fun, even tho I don't come close to auto-x stressing her.

Not to hijack the thread but I figured I'd ask my question here since it pertains to the Tenzo's. On the sites like wheelsnext they'll say that the wheels that fit my car (2006 6MT RWD sedan) are the 19x8.5. I'd like to run an offset of 8.5 (+45) in front and 10.0 (+22) in the back. I plan on rolling my fenders but will I need a camber kit for the rears to fit? I'd rather not have to deal with the camber kit if I can help it

I'd check here, I'm not up on my Sedan offsets, I just barely understand the coupe ones! hehe

haha yeah I haven't really learned the whole offset thing yet, tried doing research but dunno what info to trust.

I knew there was an aggressive wheel setup but didn't know there was a sedan specific one! Thanks for the info!

Does Anyone have a pic of flat black or gunmetal on IP? I searched long and hard to find a pic but no results.

Thanks for the input so far. Even tho the votes say otherwise, I am leaning towards the OEM's right now.

Update: I've decided to go with the OEM's and spacers, I will post pics of this as well because there seems to be no pics of gunmetal oem rims on IP. Thanks for everyones feedback.

Good choice...the OEM 19 is a higher quality wheel.
